Celebrating VE Day
Here are some activities you can enjoy while celebrating VE day on Friday 8th May. Attached is a song from Mrs Kee, called 'Seventy Five Years' about VE day. We invite the children to play, sing, accompany and create some pictures to relate to this song and send them in for us to see. There is also an art challenge, some reading and links to find out more about VE day.

Keep up the brilliant work you have been doing on Purple Mash, you are doing a great job. I have added some more activities for you to do relating to out topic this term ‘Glorious Greeks’. Have a look at the story of Perseus and Medusa and Theseus and the Minotaur story and complete the activities in the word document attached.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter and spent lots of time enjoying the sunshine.
As I said before Easter our topic for this term will be Glorious Greeks. I will be uploading some information on here so you can have a read to find out more about Ancient Greece. I will also be putting some tasks on Purple Mash which relate to this topic. Please remember to login to Purple Mash and Timetable Rock Stars daily to complete the tasks set.

For the summer term our topic will be Ancient Greece, I have uploaded some open ended tasks you can start relating to this.

I hope you are all well and keeping safe. Your Purple Mash tasks are looking great, thank you for completing these, please continue to do so. Please also make sure you are logging into TT Rockstars.
Here is more chapters of 'Beetle Boy' for you to continue to read. Keep sharing them with your family and add any new characters to your character profiles.

Spellings are given on Thursday and tested every Tuesday.
Homework is set on a Tuesday and due the following Tuesday
If possible, please have PE kit in every day - lessons are on Monday (swimming) and Wednesday (hip hop), with additional events all the time!
Children should wear socks (no tights, please) for swimming and not have earrings for PE.
Please encourage children to read to you or with you at home at least 5 times per week. Timetables also need to be practised using different methods and 'Time Table Rock Stars'.
