Monday 20th April
Happy Monday everyone. I hope you have all had a relaxing Easter break with your family and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. Welcome back to the Summer term where you will be learning from home. Thank you so much for all your hard work so far.
Our topic for this half term is 'What a Wonderful World'. I will continue to set daily activities on Purple Mash. I have also included on your weekly timetable which you can find below a list of activities that you can complete in your own time.
There is also a musical challenge activity that you may like to try at home. You can find more details on this below in the 'music' folder.
Please continue to practise your times tables on Times Tables Rock Stars.
I will be updating our class webpage regularly so please keep checking it.
Take a look in the Photo Gallery below to see what your friends are up to. Please keep sending in pictures so I can share what you are doing at home.
Stay safe, work hard and I look forward to seeing you all again soon :)

Happy Easter Year 2!
Thank you for your hard work this term, especially over the last two weeks. I hope you all have a lovely Easter. I have uploaded some activities you may like to do over the Easter holidays. Don't forget to take some pictures and email them to me.
Keep safe and I hope to see you all soon!
Create your own bucket list....
I saw this lovely idea online and thought it might be something you would like to do.
Use your time in lockdown to prepare for all your future adventures. Every time you wish you could do something, go somewhere, treat yourselves, see a friend or family member, visit a new place, invite friends or family to visit you, write it down on a piece of paper or a post it note. Keep all the pieces of paper in a jar.
When all this is over this will be your bucket list and you can work through the jar and be more grateful than ever for the little and lovely things in our lives.
Please find below activities and online activities for your child should you be in self isolation
The children have all been working really hard and have settled into Year 2 very well.
Each week I will post the homework on our class page and also update web links that include helpful webpages to support your child in their learning.
Please see our curriculum letter below to give you more information on what the children will be learning this term.
Please come and see me if you ever have any questions or concerns.
