E-safety is an integral part of children’s education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. We also want to help our parents and children improve their own understanding of e-safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.
E-safety rules are posted in all classrooms and discussed with the pupils as appropriate at the start of each year and throughout.
Please see our Policies section for our E-safety policy.
If you have any concerns please come and speak to a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
All classes took part in Safer Internet Day 2018 on Tuesday 7th February with the theme Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you.
This year each class was given a specific theme to learn about and then we shared the information between year groups. Year 5 and 6 made characters for Nursery and Reception to help them with their understanding of E-Safety. The rest of the school looked at staying safe whilst gaming and how to keep your personal information secret.
Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the celebration saw hundreds of schools and organisations join together to raise awareness of online safety issues and run events and activities right across the UK.
